Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands. I know it as the city where I’ve studied, lived and worked for the better part of my life. It’s many different buildings, new and old, make it for a many-sided city to photograph. I usually go out around, or just after, sunset to take pictures.
I can highly recommend taking a (photo)walk through the city. At night the colors of concreet and brick disappear. The lights come on and everything changes into one big colorfull scene. Empty shoppingstreets or the Mariënburg-chapel, are clad in all colors imaginable.
